Caleb's Farm Field Trip

I got to go with Caleb to a small farm near his school today.  They had a few animals and some great areas to play around.  It's fun to watch him interact with the other kids at this age.

What's October Without a Corn Maze?!

We planned a trip to the LSU corn maze, shaped like a tiger, to help celebrate Fall.  Adam ran through the whole thing while Uncle Mack tried to keep up.  Caleb, Teresa, and I found the hay mountain and tried to look for them.

Pumpkin Patch 2014

Every year we visit the pumpkin patch at Caleb's school for our very special pumpkins.  We also get some great pictures out of it.  This year,  Aunt Teresa and Uncle Mack got to come with us.

Boy Scouts

Now that we are hosting the Boy Scout meetings at our house every few weeks, we're getting creative in the entertainment department.  We've got to wear these kids out!  So,  to earn a badge, C designed a pretty cool obstacle course in our front yard.  The kids ran that course 100 times that night...the dads even tried it.

LSU Football Begins!

We traveled to Houston to cheer on LSU vs. Wisconsin in the season opener.  We got to visit with family and go to the game without kids...a treat!

Boys Trip to Monday Night RAW

They were so excited.  These boys love wrestling and this was C's first opportunity to watch it live.

Bogue Chitto...We love you!

Just before school started back, we took a quick weekend trip to one of our favorite parks near us, Bogue Chitto.  It has everything we look for in fun.  We spent most of the weekend in the water, but also made some great campfire food and rode bikes.  Great times.
A caught about 40 minnows with a water bottle.  He took them home, hoping to raise them, but Joe, his minnow from a previous catch, seemed to like living alone.

Sabatage

C and I stealthily waited for Adam to get off the bus on the first day of 2nd grade.  We ambushed him with water balloons and water guns!!   I think that will be a new tradition.

Adam the Triathlete

Adam participated in the LSU kids triathlon and killed it.  He, as he usually does, worried beforehand about what exactly to expect, but as soon as he was off, he didn't look back.  He was determined and never stopped.  We're so proud of him!
