Caleb's First LSU Game...sort of

This Saturday was LSU's Spring Football Game. We got free tickets and there was perfect weather so we decided to do a mini-version of our normal LSU GameDay experience. We packed a lunch, played on the Indian Mounds, Listened to the band, etc. This is when I started to notice a change in Adam. At first I thought it was that he was missing his naptime. He kept trying to sit down wherever we stopped and one time mid-walking. That's not normal. When we got into the game and to our seats, Adam immediately laid down in Chris' lap and stayed there the entire first half. This is when I started feeling his forhead and yep, fever. Once we got home he was running a 101 temp. He's been sick since. The fever broke after about 2 days, but this has turned into a monster cold and cough. I've crossed all fingers and toes that the rest of us don't get it.
How did I get the heavy one?

Best seats we'll ever have!

As you can see...Adam is not 100 percent. This was at the beginning of the game. He got pitiful really fast.

A Bunch of Monkeys

Caleb, Adam, and I visited the zoo for the first time this season. I actually got a zoo membership this year b/c I figured we would be spending a lot of time there. Caleb took some nice naps. Adam kept saying the giraffs were going to smell him. I made the 5 hour outing with 2 boys all by myself!! Successful trip!!

The Holeman Week...

Here's a bunch of random stuff:
Here's Caleb yesterday...

Here's Caleb today. Apparently the playmat is a good napping spot.

Thanks for the coon-skin cap and the cowboy book from the Alamo Aunt Teresa!!

Chris and Adam making...get ready...Homemade caramel cheesecake ice cream!! This stuff is so good!!

I've also been mia lately b/c my computer time has been taken up by creating a gigantic family tree for Adam and Caleb on ancestry.com. If you're watching that new show, "Who Do You Think You Are", then you know what I'm talking about. I'm giving myself a month to finish it to the best of my ability, but it is so fascinating finding out about family members I've never even heard of. I've gotten back to 1818 through one branch of the tree.

A New Day!!

Caleb finally slept through the night!! Two nights ago he slept from 8:30pm to 7:00am!! That was the first full night of sleep I think I've had since last August...that's about 8 months. Then, last night, he slept from 8pm to 5:30am. I'll count that too!!

Deep In The Heart Of Texas...

So we headed back to Austin for a family wedding this past weekend. About 8 hours in the car with a 3 year old and a 4 month old had disaster written all over it. But, they did great! A few stops, but mostly just rode, chatted, sang, colored, and slept. We really loved reminiscing about our old favorite spots. We only got to visit a few this time, but oh so good! We saw some old friends and visited with lots of family at the wedding. Great Weekend!!

Mexican Martini's at Trudy's

Adam inventing a new game of golf at the wedding. Entertained himself!!

Sick-O

I forgot to post this last week. Adam actually got sick (throwing up) for the first time. Of course he's been sick before, but never threw up. Now he's in the club with honors. Anyway, he looked so pitiful and cute that I snapped a shot of him with his bowl and Pedialite, watching a movie.
